GARLIC
BRAIDS- Handmade by Leo and Jean. Braiding is traditionally the best way
to store garlic, and as an added bonus, is a work of art. For many years, we
only made our braids from softneck garlic varieties. Now we have perfected a
system for "braiding" hardnecks (a method of tying the tops together
to get the look of a braid). This allows us to offer an option to folks who
prefer the stronger flavored hardnecks to the longer storing softnecks. Consider
a braid as an early Christmas gift and the recipient will get months of enjoyment

our mail order braids are created as near to these weights as possible,
and without fresh or dried herbs or flowers
as decoration, we offer a larger selection at the Lexington Farmers Market
until November. We will be happy to create a braid especially for you
to fit a certain spot in your home, or to give as a special gift. Please
contact us by email and give us as much lead time as possible. (Our market
